Quake 4

Strengths: Its a great game

Weakness: Its a lot like doom 3, but then again doom 3 was a great game also.

Quake 4 is a great first person shooter. Plenty of cool weapons and a ton of ugly alien creatures to frag! I would defiantly recommend this game to friends. Peace.

Awesome!

Strengths: Visuals, Story and challenge factor.

Weakness: Framerate stutters a bit.

Quake 4 is a direct port of the PC game that came out a few months prior, you play as your run of the mill "space marine" sent in to destroy to strogg. The gameplay is fast and furious, reminds me of Doom 3, not just because it runs on the same engine but because of the gameplay minus the scare factors. If you are looking for a change of pace FPS this is your game, the action is awesome and the...

Impressive

Strengths: Great graphics, sound, and it's Quake.

Weakness: Can't have multiple people on your own box.

THe game is amazing, graphics are fantastic as well as the sound. It takes so long for Xbox Live to find a game and join it. I hate that you can't have multi-player on your own box, you can only use multi-player on XBox Live or Xbox System Link.

Quake 4 for the 360

Strengths: Plenty of weapons to choose from; Quake II included

Weakness: Some serious frame rate issues; multiplayer is uninventive

Quake 4 for XBOX 360 is the newest game in this highly successful series. While this game is just as enjoyable as its predecessor, it does have a few issues. For example, id chose to go the multiplayer route with Quake III. However, the multiplayer mode seems to have gone backwards in this game. It seems like an afterthought and isn't particularly enjoyable. As for the gameplay itself, it's...

Quake 4

Strengths: Good graphics and sound.

Weakness: slowdown sometimes

Quake 4 has good garphics and sound. However, like every other shooting game, there is not much new compared with the previous version. I recommend buying a used one rather than a new one. Bonus disc has Quake 2.

Quake 4 (XBOX 360)

Strengths: (1) Solid FPS game (2) As an early XBOX 360 release, this title can be found at a low price

Weakness: (1) Somewhat generic in storyline and game play compared to newer games that are available (2) Graphics can't compete with today's games

Quake 4 is a good First Person Shooter game. While not wholly unexpected or original if you had recently played Doom 3 (the two games are very similar in look and gameplay), Quake 4 is a good first offering for the XBOX 360. It can be found for a very reasonable price now that it has been out for a while, though, it does not hold up to the current generation of games on the system. Throughout the...

Quakers wouldn't like the violence

Strengths: FPS action, decent graphics and control

Weakness: Drags on for a little too long

Quake 4 is a first person shooter for the Xbox 360, and was one of the first released for the system. It shows how well a pc game can be ported over to Microsoft's console. Graphics are respectable, and the framerate is pretty good. Multiplayer is provided, but Halo 3 is out now, so don't expect much. Still a fun, solid title, and CHEAP.

This game is a good FP Shooter game

Strengths: Great Graphics

Weakness: Seems pretty dark and does not allow you to truly enjoy graphics at times. Virtually the same as all other Quake's.

Smooth gameplay, just like all the other FPS's, simple controls, just like all the other FPS's as well. Pros: Graphics as most may know GREAT! the story well made, but what i really like about it is the charactors in the game. They are very realistic and pending on your system you can really get into it! Cons: Multiplayer mode is like quake 3 too much. Game never changes stays the same by this I...

Quake 4

Strengths: Fun run and gun gameplay Excellent graphics

Weakness: Occasional slowdown

I've played all of the Quake titles, and this one is one of my favorites. The story was taken to another level, and there was quite a bit of variety in some of the missions. I enjoyed using a mech, riding in the train car, or riding in the monorail. It broke up the game from just straight ahead shooting. About midway through the game, the creatures seemed to become more intelligent (working...

Underrated Game

Strengths: Nice fast paced Gameplay,

Weakness: Not easy to find people online for multiplayer

This game has fun multiplayer but it is not easy to find people on-line. Single player is pretty good but since this was my first quake game I cannot compare it with earlier versions. You play as a human soldier & fight aliens. It did feel like "Doom 3" though & can get real gorish at times Occasional framerate problems exist but they hardly take away the fun. There are some cool weapons here but...

Quake 4

“It’s a ground-pounders war …” A simple phrase thrown out there during the initial cutscene in the Activision/id Software/Raven iteration of Quake 4 for the 360 home console. Well, Ok, but amend that to ‘it’s a ground-pounders war with pop-out monsters, action galore and the chance to fight in some really cool machines’ and you have the beginning of an inkling as to what drives...
